Alexander Hardy
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Alexander Hardy is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Valerio.
Before Valerio, he was in product development, system architecture and partner management for Fortune 500 companies working in the commercial, federal, state and local industries. Alexander is currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC).
His military education includes the U.S. Army Infantry School (now the Maneuver Center of Excellence) and the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE). Alexander is also an Information Systems Adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton School of Business. In his personal life, he enjoys skiing with his family and is also a Chicago Bears fan.
John Pulaski
CHIEF Operations OFFICER
John Pulaski is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at Valerio. His responsibilities include leading the public sector team, developing global business and providing Valerio’s services on the African continent.
Before Valerio, he spent 20 years in project management, strategic advising and capability growth initiatives in Afghanistan and across the African continent, executing large programs for prime government contractors. John is an Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) veteran.
He is a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps School of Infantry (SOI) and the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE), where he met Alexander Hardy. When he is not traveling the world with his wife and dog Cartouche, he is an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.
Ben Hazen
CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER
Ben Hazen, Ph.D., is the Chief Innovation Officer at Valerio, where he leads the development and deployment of innovative solutions to support customer and mission needs.
A retired U.S. Air Force officer, Ben served in both enlisted (Satellite, Wideband and Telemetry Systems) and commissioned (Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics) roles. He later served as Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He was also a Deputy Director of the Center for Operational Analysis at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Here, he led student theses and research supporting defense agencies.
Ben is Editor Emeritus of the Journal of Defense Analytics and Logistics and remains active in academic publishing. Unfortunately, he is a San Francisco 49ers fan.
